Full-time developer, part-time student, always curious.

I'm an ambitious software engineer and computer scientist who is always eager to learn and innovate. Right now I'm a Technology Developer Degree Apprentice at Barclays UK, working as a backend developer on an integration team in Group Technology Infrastructure Services. Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka and Ansible are my daily tools.

Alongside the day job I'm studying Digital & Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) at Manchester Metropolitan University, and running Mayer Digital, where I design and build websites that give small businesses and creatives a strong digital footprint.

Before Barclays I managed e-commerce and web development projects in the jewellery industry, working across Magento, Azure and WordPress. I've also built full-stack sites and AI tools such as Sentire, a real-time sentiment engine for r/WallStreetBets.

These days I'm most excited by the places where security, AI and quantum computing meet. I'm on the way to publishing my first paper on hybrid PQC–QKD security algorithms, and I write about quantum, security, AI, entrepreneurship and philosophy on Substack.
